M.B.A., 2003 University of California, Irvine B.A., Anthropology Wheaton College Experience Ann Peoples has a diverse background extending over a 27-year career in commercial and government programs in the defense, environmental, scientific research and engineering/construction markets. This includes 10 years’ managing programs of national strategic interest and 14 years of proposal development and marketing. Ann applies her hands-on operations experience to the development of winning proposal strategies and practical management approaches. In the U.S. Antarctic Program, Ann rose through the ranks from her initial job as an equipment operator to become the first U.S. woman to manage a U.S. Antarctic research station. As Deputy Program Director for Johnston Atoll chemical weapons demilitarization support, Ann led the medical department through 3 successful chemical surety inspections (CSI), including a notable first—the first time a civilian hospital passed a CSI on its initial attempt. For this, she received the Commander's Award for Public Service, the 4th highest honor conferred by the U.S. Army to a civilian. After leaving Johnston Atoll, Ann earned her MBA, with honors, and has since been providing proposal support services to varied clients including AECOM, Babcock Intl, Bechtel, B&W, CH2M HILL, EnergySolutions, Honeywell, PAE, SAIC, Tetra Tech, U. of California and URS. Ann has excelled in the proposal field registering a 70% win rate, totaling $113B in federal and international contracts. Ann has managed and supported complex proposals including Pantex/Y-12 Management and Operations ($22B), Dounreay (Scotland) Site Demolition and Nuclear Cleanup ($4.6B), West Valley Management and Operation ($333M), ETTP Decontamination and Decommissioning ($2.2B), Operation of the Advanced Mixed Waste Treatment plant ($413M), Operation of Depleted Uranium Hexafluoride Conversion Facilities ($428M), Sellafield (United Kingdom) Management and Operation ($43B), and Management and Operation of the LLWR near Drigg, United Kingdom ($257M). She is a member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) and regularly contributes to online capture planning and proposal management groups. |
