Business Administration, Concentration in Management, 2011 Longwood University Experience Shane is a strong proposal coordinator, who has demonstrated the skills and understanding required to effectively maintain proposal preparation, control and configuration. He has served as proposal coordinator for multiple submittals including the Central Plateau Cleanup Contract (CPCC), Final Proposal Revision (FPR) for Savannah River Site Liquid Waste, Sandia National Laboratory (SNL), the FPR and original submittal of Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) and responses to the Government of Canada’s request for information (RFI), request for response evaluation (RFRE), other team member (OTM) and request for proposal (RFP) for the AECL GoCo Procurement. Shane’s organizational skills, versatility and ability to comprehend complex subjects quickly bring reliable structure, integrity and cohesion to the proposals he coordinates, furthering uniform process buy-in from multi-corporate proposal teams. Shane served as the coordinator for the FPR of SRS LW, SNL, the FPR and original submittal of NNSS and AECL GoCo Procurement. For the duration of the SRS LW, SNL, NNSS and AECL proposals, including preliminary RFRE and RFI-stage submittals, Shane demonstrated the versatility demanded of a proposal coordinator, successfully delivering the full, diverse and evolving scope of relevant tasks. Shane scheduled meetings, notifying needed attendees, booking conference rooms, providing materials and serving as liaison between unacquainted parties. He provided general project orientation to all guests and late team additions. Shane tracked and monitored section progress, produced and presented daily meeting and training materials, and continuously updated directives in response to new information, assignments and other strategic modifications. With a proficiency in the comprehensive Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint), Adobe software (e.g., InDesign, InCopy, Acrobat Pro), cloud computing and general office equipment, he frequently took on a day-to-day IT support role. He supported production (including desktop publishing), coordinating graphics, layouts, proofing, printing, volume assembly and final quality control. |
